We developed CoinTab — a feature-rich cryptocurrency exchange that seamlessly combines spot trading and peer-to-peer (P2P) exchange in a single, unified interface. The platform empowers users not only to trade on a centralized order book but also to exchange assets directly with other users — on their own terms, with flexible fiat payment methods and secure transaction protection via an escrow service.

We developed CoinTab — a feature-rich cryptocurrency exchange that seamlessly combines spot trading and peer-to-peer (P2P) exchange in a single, unified interface. The platform empowers users not only to trade on a centralized order book but also to exchange assets directly with other users — on their own terms, with flexible fiat payment methods and secure transaction protection via an escrow service.
What Makes the Platform Stand Out:
Two trading modes in one application:
Spot trading — for fast, market-driven transactions
P2P trading — for direct “buyer ↔ seller” deals with fiat
P2P interface inspired by modern messaging apps: announcement cards, smart filters (currency, payment method, limits, user rating), and an integrated chat with trading counterparties.
Escrow protection: upon deal creation, crypto funds are temporarily locked in a smart wallet and released to the seller only after the buyer confirms fiat payment.
Runs directly in the browser — no downloads required, fast, secure, and cross-platform.

Escrow fund-locking mechanism using internal user wallets

Dispute resolution workflow (“Open Dispute” → moderation → resolution)
Admin dashboard for ad moderation, user verification, and deal integrity monitoring
Integration with email services for critical event alerts (e.g., deal creation, payment confirmation, dispute)"
